7-Eleven Heavenly Blend
Angels Help Distribute Free Cases of 7-Eleven® Heavenly Blend Coffee to Local Houses of Worship
Guest Appearance by Celebrity Angel Takes Place
Don’t be surprised if you see Angels helping to give away coffee this holiday season. They plan to join 7-Eleven, the world’s premier convenience retailer, and their employees to help make the holidays festive for our local Long Island communities. In keeping with the spirit of giving, 7-Eleven will be providing 375 free cases of Heavenly Blend Coffee to Churches, Temples and Houses of Worship as a gift to the local communities. The event took place at the 7-Eleven store located at 2397 Hempstead Turnpike , East Meadow. The first 100 representatives also received a free case of Heavenly Blend coffee cups.
“We thought this would be a wonderful way to give a gift to the local communities on Long Island,” explained Bonnie Grube, Northeast Coffee Merchandiser for 7-Eleven. “With today’s economic situation, this is one small way we can support the efforts of those who work within our communities,” she continued. In addition, there was an appearance by celebrity angel, Mrs. New York America 2006/2007 Lidia Szcepanowski-Goldsmith who helped with the festivities and the efforts. “This is a wonderful opportunity which makes a remarkable difference in the lives of others,” she explained.
7-Eleven stores are part of the neighborhood and committed to serving the changing needs of its customers. Being a good neighbor and corporate citizen is part of doing business at 7-Eleven, and the company is proud of its long history of supporting local neighborhoods in meaningful ways through numerous community relations initiatives. Over the past 32 years, through corporate-, franchisee-, employee- and customer-donation programs, 7-Eleven has contributed more than $100 million in cash and in-kind products to advance its charitable mission.
